New State law removes the permit requirement for a narrow set of small, non-trade home projects. Most work still needs a permit. And for the projects that are exempt, the law still requires you to file a written exemption.
Project Description: This portion of the Shingle Creek Regional Trail will connect Kissimmee Lakefront Park to the upcoming Lancaster Ranch Park and the rest of the Shingle Creek Regional Trail on Hoagland Blvd. This project involves designing and constructing a 14-foot wide bike/pedestrian trail. The project will help the environment and encourage pedestrian and bicycling activities to promote community health, growth, and good family values. Once complete, bicyclists can safely travel from Kissimmee Lakefront Park to Shingle Creek Regional Park and then north towards Osceola Parkway.
