Repairs are underway to our splash pad. During that time, it will be open on weekends only from 9 AM to 2 PM. We're using temporary water features so you can still enjoy the splash pad on weekends.

Development Services

The Development Services Department facilitates various programs that promote the responsible development of the City and a safe, livable environment for all its residents. The department’s primary roles include:

Planning and Zoning
Building permits, plan review, inspections, and licensing
Code enforcement
Administering State and Federal Community Development Housing Grant programs, and

In addition to various agencies, organizations, and the general public, the department partners with several resident advisory boards to implement its programs. The department provides organizational and technical support to the Planning Advisory Board, Board of Adjustments, Code Enforcement Magistrate, Historic Preservation Board, Housing Advisory Board, and the Development Review Committee.
