Civilian Police Oversight Board

This board advises the Kissimmee Police Department on department rules. 

• The Committee consists of 5 members appointed by the Chief of Police
• Meets quarterly at a date and time to be determined at a later date with the input of the selected board members.
• Three will be appointed for two-year terms and two will be appointed for a one-year term. Board members are limited to three consecutive two-year terms. 
• All members shall reside in, work in, or own a business in City of Kissimmee limits.
• One member must be a retired law enforcement officer. 
• Members may not be a candidate for elective office or a sitting elected official and must resign upon qualification as a candidate for elective office.
