The Strategic Communications Office is responsible for the internal and external communications of the City of Kissimmee, Kissimmee Fire Department, and Kissimmee Police Department.
Through engaging and immersive visual storytelling, the office works to tell the city's history, story, and vision. The office is responsible for:
- Media Relations and Public Affairs
- Social media
- Crisis communications
- Marketing, advertising, and brand/program awareness
- Creating print materials and collateral
- Coordinating special events
- Intergovernmental programs
The Strategic Communications Office has earned numerous awards from local, state, and national communications/ public relations associations, including recognition from the Florida Public Relations Association, Florida Government Communicators Association, and the City-County Communications & Marketing Association.
School of Government
This nine-week program offers an exclusive opportunity for individuals who live, work, or own a business within Kissimmee city limits to learn about local government operations, engage with city leaders, and understand how to best utilize government services.

From creating engaging videos and branding materials to designing impactful graphics and social content, the team plays a key role in promoting City initiatives, maintaining brand consistency, and enhancing public engagement across all platforms.
