2025-2029 Citizen Participation for Public Comment and Hearing

The City of Kissimmee has completed the development of its Five-Year (2025-2029) Citizen Participation Plan.  The purpose of the Citizen Participation Plan is to encourage public participation in the planning process, as well as to meet the requirements of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Plan sets forth the City of Kissimmee’s policies and procedures for citizen participation.  Furthermore, it provides and encourage citizens to participate in the development of the Consolidated Plan, the Annual Action Plan, any substantial amendment to the Consolidated Plan, and the Consolidated Annual Performance and Evaluation Report (CAPER).  

Any persons who require assistance in reading or understanding this Plan or any other documents described herein due to disability or difficulty with the language will be provided sufficient assistance to enable them to understand its purpose and provisions.

All citizens are invited and encouraged to make oral or written comments beginning July 4, 2025 through August 4, 2025 and to participate in the public hearing during the City of Kissimmee City Commission meeting on August 5, 2025.
