Tree Lighting Ceremony

Next date: Saturday, November 28, 2026 | 06:30 PM to 09:30 PM

Kick off the holiday season in the heart of Historic Downtown Kissimmee at our annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, presented in partnership with Kissimmee Main Street! Join City and community leaders as we count down to light the City’s holiday tree for the first time this season, with a little help from a special guest from the Osceola Magic.

Stay for live holiday performances by the School of Music, the OCSA Jazz Band and Adanse, followed by a festive parranda by Pa’l Callejón. Then cheer as Santa arrives on a fire truck, and bring the kids for photos with him by the tree. Holiday merchandise vendors will be on site all evening, so you can get a head start on your holiday shopping.

This free, family-friendly event is the official kickoff to the Festival of Lights, which runs through [end date]. Arrive early for the best viewing spots, and make a night of it by exploring downtown’s shops and restaurants.

Schedule

• 7:00 p.m.: Tree lighting
• 7:20 p.m.: Live performances
