Whether you're just starting out or looking to improve your swimming skills, the Bob Makinson Aquatic Center offers group, private, and semi-private lessons for all ages starting at 6 months old.

Group Swim Lessons

Learn to Swim in a Group Setting – 30 Minute Sessions

Weekday Group swim lessons are offered in eleven two-week sessions beginning in April and running through September. Classes are held Monday –Thursday and are 30 minutes in length. Due to the weather being unpredictable, a 6-class minimum is guaranteed.

Cost: $60 per session
Ages: 6 months to Adult 
Class Times:

• Morning Sessions: 9:15 am and 10:00 am
• Evening Sessions: 5:30 pm and 6:15 pm
• Class availability dependent on age and skill level

Private Swim Lessons

One-on-One Instruction – Ages 6 Months+

• Location: Bob Makinson Aquatic Center
• Times: Scheduled based on availability
• Days: Mondays – Sundays
• Cost:
  •  $125 for a 5-lesson package
  • $30 per individual 30-minute lesson

Semi-Private Swim Lessons

Small Group Instruction (2 or more participants)

• Location: Bob Makinson Aquatic Center
• Times: Scheduled based on availability
• Days: Mondays – Sundays
• Cost:
  •  $90 per participant for a 5-lesson package (minimum of 2 children)
  •  $60 for each additional participant
