Protect your home with a free smoke alarm

Working smoke alarms save lives, but not everyone has the means to install them. If you can’t afford to purchase smoke alarms or are physically unable to install one yourself, help may be available.

Through our partnership with the American Red Cross, eligible residents can receive free smoke alarms and professional installation.

Step 1.Confirm Eligibility:

You are eligible to receive assistance from the American Red Cross if you:

  • You do not currently have a working smoke alarm
  • You are unable to afford a smoke alarm or physically unable to install one

Once you submit your request, a member of our team or a Red Cross partner will contact you to schedule your free installation.
