Economic Development Evaluation Process

The City of Kissimmee’s Economic Development program is designed to serve as a catalyst to spur new private sector investment and job creation within our community. The program was developed in a methodical way to enact sustainable strategies that leverage investments from various sources to maximize the long-term viability of our economic development efforts.

Step 1.Submit Your Application

Complete and submit the official application form to start the process.

Apply for Economic Incentives

Step 2.Eligibility Review

The Economic Development Department will review your submission and determine which incentives your business may qualify for.

Step 3.Receive Offer & Contract

If eligible, you'll receive a proposed contract outlining available incentives and your responsibilities.

Step 4.City Commission Approval

The signed contract will be presented to the Kissimmee City Commission for approval.

Step 5.Implementation

Once approved, the City will begin processing your incentives.

Step 6.Ongoing Compliance Monitoring

The Economic Development Division will track your project to ensure compliance with the terms of your contract.
