The City of Kissimmee is accepting applications from eligible agencies for the allocation of $518,338 in funding provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). These funds will support wraparound programs designed to assist individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness, are at risk of homelessness, or are members of other qualifying vulnerable populations. Through a coordinated, client-centered approach, the City aims to strengthen its system of care by connecting eligible households with housing resources and supportive services that promote long-term housing stability and self-sufficiency.
Funding applications will be available to interested agencies beginning July 16, 2026, and must be submitted no later than August 17, 2026. A meeting to discuss the purpose of the application, available funding, the application cycle, eligibility requirements, submission instructions, evaluation criteria, and to answer questions will be held in the City Commission Chambers at City Hall, located at 101 N. Church Street, Kissimmee, FL 34741, on July 20, 2026, at 2:00 p.m.
