What Goes Where & Recycling

Place these items in your brown trash container.

• Household garbage
• Food waste
• Styrofoam
• Plastic bags
• Glass
• Hardback books
• Light bulbs
• Wrapping paper
• Ceramics or dishes
• Motor oil containers (empty)

Place these items in your blue recycling container.

• Aluminum, tin, & steel
• Paper
• Magazines
• Junk mail
• Plastic bottles and containers #1 through #7 (remove lids).
• Cardboard boxes and cartons (flatten all boxes)
   

Place the following items in the green yard waste container:

• Grass trimmings
• Leaves
• Weeds
• Small tree branches

Do not place painted wood or construction debris in the yard waste container.
